Riverside Magnet School (RMS) is an elementary school that offers young children full-day education focused on building literacy, numeracy, social, and physical skills. The curriculum begins with our full-day, NAEYC-accredited pre-K program, and continues through grade 5. From reading, math, and science to essential visual, musical, and physical education classes, RMS scholars are challenged in a motivating and creative environment aligned with state and national learning standards.
RMS employs fully certified teachers as well as curriculum specialists for all grades, and we are fortunate to have a state-of-the-art facility with technology designed for young children, including Smart Boards and computers in every classroom. Our diverse student body allows for increased cultural competencies, and RMS offers many opportunities for family and community involvement, as we feel those two components are an integral part of a scholar’s overall success. Through project-based education and a hands-on learning approach, your child will be prepared for a bright future.

Riverside Magnet School offers children an exciting curriculum that focuses on building literacy, numeracy, physical, and social-emotional skills. Through exposure to our district's four Pathways, we empower our scholars to explore diverse subjects and envision successful futures in local careers.
A Flexible Full-Day Program
Each classroom has fully certified teachers who plan customized learning experiences based on the children’s interests and needs, encouraging many forms of expression. All children are offered a full-day program. Additionally, we offer before-and-after-school care. Extended hours are available on a tuition basis. See our Studio page for more information.
